I have ingrown hairs along my bikini line from shaving. I find it is too painful to wax and as a result i can never go to the beach without board shorts . It is unsightly and i hate my boyfriend seeing it also. The thing is , they are old scars from previous ingrowns and will not go away.How long until they fade? What can i do?How long until the scars from ingrown hairs disappear?
They will fade with time, but you a right, you will probably always have small scars there.
The scars will continue to fade over the next year or even more.
If they are a problem for you, perhaps you should consult your GP and possibly ask about a referral to a Dermatologist. They may be able to recommend laser therapy or another form of therapy to help you in this area.
