Laser surgery is the only way to get rid of the scars completely? Any side effects?

I have a big thick scar that has been bothering me for over a year. I heard of Bio Oil, but I don't think it'll get rid of that scar completely.

Laser surgery will not necessarily remove the scar completely. There are many scars that cannot be removed without actual surgery(with a blade). Lasers only penetrate millimeters under the skin so anything too deep will not be removed. http://fractionalc02.com has some valuable information Report Abuse

Unfortunately nothing can get rid of scars completely. Laser surgery can lighten and soften the scar but cannot completeyl eradicate it.





Non Ablative Laser surgery is not to painful, it feels similar to someone snapping an elastic band against your skin. You may experience some redness and then over the next few months the scar should soften and fade. You may require multiple treatments depending on the thickeness and redness of the scar.
