I'm really trying to stop cutting. I cut 2days ago. I have a lot of deep scars on my thighs. I have tried makeup, creams. Everything. Do you ahve any tips? My thighs have so many scars. I'm going to a ';lady doctor'; and it's really enbarrasing. I know she is going to ask how my thighs got like this. I'm 23How do to get rid of self harm scars?
Its not going to go away overnight, or completely even. don't beat yourself up about the scars, it will only feed into your feelings of self hate. that being said, a good regiment for skin repair is to buy vitamin E capsules, i think all drugstores have them. Break the pill open, and rub the gooey vitamin E goodness into your scars. Vitamin E is the way to go with blemish minimization. it will promote skin cell growth. How do to get rid of self harm scars?
I do the same thing Im trying to stop it really depends on what your cutting with I use a razor blade on my thighs and I can cover them up with movie makeup. If you use a knife then u might have to get that stuff that makes scars ';dissapear'; I dont rember what its called and eventually you will be able to cover it up with movie makeup
Vitamin E oil (found in the skin care aisle of most drugstores) can help to heal up cuts really quickly and fade scars.
best if you tell her. and the reason them they call them scars is for a reminder . every time you look at them ....%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; think %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; and stop it now .
try cocoa butter. It works miracles. Im glad you want o stop. Thats awsome. It may take a while but it works.
Coco butter works. Also you could see a doctor and see if you can get something.
Well obviously if you're cutting my first advice would be to seek professional help with that. There are treatment options, including therapy and medication, that can make it easier for you to stop doing that, because it isn't healthy.
But if you want to cover them up, a costume shop might be your best bet. They would sell fake skin made of latex or other materials, normally, ironically used to create the illusion of fake scars and bruises, but you'd be using it to create the illusion of no scars.
Of course that might not hold up under scrutiny if your doctor touches it.
