What is the best treatment for burn scars?

I have 13% burns on my arm and back, half of which were grafted. The burns are almost 6 months mature. I use scar massage, mederma, compression garments, and now cica care sheets. Does anyone have any other recommendations? How about for the donor sites? I was treated at Brooke Army Medical Center so I had the opportunity for the best care and garments but they dont have much information on scar creams and such. What is the best treatment for burn scars?

ABOUT BURN INJURIES

The severity of a burn depends on how hot the skin gets and how long the burn lasts. The location is also important, because skin varies in thickness, water and oil content, the amount of subcutaneous fat, and the number of blood vessels from one location in the body to another. The diagnosis of a burn injury is based on how deep the injury is.

TREATMENT

Try pure aloe. Also try vitamin E. I have a burn scar on my hand from 7 years ago. I used pure aloe and vitamin E. (switch off every other week) I still have a scar, but it's better than it was. Also stay out of the sun, it will burn easy and the scar shows up more with a tan or burn. Best of luck to you.
